Bill Howard, born in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, August 15th,1930. My dad had an auto dealership in the town of Coweta, Oklahoma, where we were reared, so the automotive industry has had a large influence in my life. Growing up in the depression years money was often scarce so reading was a major hobby. Detective novels were my favorite. This is probably the reason that my writing began with a detective novel. The first of which was published just after my eighty third birthday.

There are six of the Rick Wade books, a series about a young man interested in law and justice. Also writing and publishing ten other books in a different genre.
